Sürgős kampány Dhondup Wangchenért

Az Amnesty International kampány indított a bebörtönzött tibeti filmesért, a honlapon már általunk is számtalanszor emlegetett Dhondup Wangchenért. A fiatal tibeti filmes ítéletre vár a xining-i Ershilipu börtönében. Egy e-maillel segíthetsz rajta.
Egy autodidakta kelet-tibeti filmes csapat, köztük Dhondup Wangchen-nel (gazdálkodó) és Golok Jigme-vel (szerzetes) teljes titokban több mint 35 órányi interjút készített hétköznapi tibetiekkel három témáról: kínai uralomról Tibetben, az olimpiáról, és a Dalai Lámáról. Egy 45.000 forintos kamerával felszerelkezve, teljesen tapasztalatlanul motorkerékpáron járták be Kelet-Tibetet és a tibeti fennsík legeldugottabb pontjait. A kezdetektől fogva egy céljuk volt: hogy az olimpiára elvigyék a tibetiek hangját. A filmet több nyelvre lefordították, három hete a Duna TV is bemutatta.
Hozzátartozói komolyan aggódnak egészségi állapota miatt. A kínzások és az elégtelen minőségű kezelés általánosan jellemzőek a kínai börtönviszonyokra. A legutóbbi hírek szerint Dhondup Wangchen hepatitis B-t kapott, de semmilyen gyógyszerrel nem kezelik. Továbbá a család által kijelölt ügyvéd nem kapott engedélyt védence meglátogatására, sőt, a hatóságok erős nyomás alá helyezték, hogy ejtse az ügyet. A család attól tart, hogy nagyon súlyos ítéletet fognak kiszabni rá, ezért van szükség a szabadlábra helyezéséért indított kampányra.

„- Azonnali hatállyal és feltétel nélkül helyezzék szabadlábra Dhondup Wangchent, mivel kizárólag a szabad vélemény nyilvánítás jogának gyakorlása miatt tartóztatták le.
- Garantálják, hogy amíg őrizetben van nem kínozzák meg, meglátogathatja a családja, szabadon választott ügyvédje, és hozzájuthat a szükséges orvosi ellátáshoz.
- Biztosítsák, hogy Dhondup Wangchen pere megfelel a nemzetközi jogi eljárások színvonalának.
-Végezzenek azonnali és elfogulatlan nyomozást az ügyben, hogy Dhondup Wangchent megkínozták-e, szenvedett-e bármilyen helytelen bánásmódtól, a lehetséges elkövetőket pedig vonják felelősségre.”
Két címet adtak meg. Az egyik az igazságügyi, a másik pedig a miniszterelnök. Mivel alig hiszen, hogy bárki postán adná fel a levelet, kiemeltem az e-mail címet, eg egy fay számot, és készítettem lejjebb két sablonlevelet is angolul, címzettel, tárggyal, ezeket csak be kel másolni (ctrl+c aztán ctrl+v), és elküldeni. - release Dhondup Wangchen immediately and unconditionally, as he has been detained solely for his peaceful exercise of the right to freedom of expression;
- guarantee that while he remains in custody, he is not tortured or otherwise ill-treated, and has access to family, legal assistance of his choosing and any medical care he may require;
- ensure that Dhondup Wangchen’s trial is in line with international fair trial standards;
- conduct a prompt and impartial investigation into the allegations that Dhondup Wangchen has been tortured and otherwise ill-treated, with a view to bringing those responsible to justice.
